Turtle Talk: How the Changing Environment Impacts Turtles

On July 24, we listened to amazing stories from the SJU Biodiversity Lab with turtle experts Dr. Scott McRobert and Brian Kron (MS '19). We learned about the history of Dr. McRobert's turtle obsession and Brian Kron's research with baby Diamondback Terrapins. This turtley-awesome presentation showed us how rising sea temperatures and changes in water quality are affecting the survival of several native turtle species.
